Welcome to Procreate!!

When I decided that I wanted to be a children’s book illustrator, I tried so hard to learn some really complex digital art platforms. I kept hitting a wall where I wasn’t really able to explore different art styles because I could barely understand the platform that I was using. BUT THEN, I came across a digital art platform that was easy to use and offered me a huge variety of  brushes that I could use as I explored different art styles. It totally changed the way that I was able to draw and allowed me to branch out and try different illustrative techniques. It was called PROCREATE.✨

Procreate is a digital art platform that hundreds of artists and illustrators use all over the world. It’s easy enough for a beginner, but has  enough features for a professional. It’s a platform that can grow with your skill level and there’s always something new to learn about it. Check out the 5 minute video I’ve put together below, to learn the basics of Procreate.

NOTE: in order to use procreate you must have purchased the app, have an iPad and stylus pencil.

I’d love to see your work!! If you’ve used procreate to create something or have any questions about procreate, you can post it below to the comments or email me via my contact page!

Thanks for reading!!

      1. Yep! They are all for digital art :DD FlipAClip is for making mini movies (s0 animation!), and Ibis and IP is just for drawing (tho I think Ibis does give you the option to make animations). Ibis also has an online community, and so does IP, but you have to pay for IP’s community and extra tools lol

  4. I started using Procreate years ago! It actually was the very first digital drawing app I got since my art teacher suggested it to me. Definitely worth the money!!

I recently drew fanart of two characters from me and my twin sister’s novel. I’m trying to test new brushes since I’m such a timid brush user XD
